Saturday 14th – Cavalier Open Day

Cavalier

The Cavalier Open Day will once again be held on the first Saturday of Good Beer Week. Back for its third instalment and held at the Cavalier Brewery, with no expense spared to bring you a day packed full of more craft beer than you can poke a stick at. What better way to kick of the week!

Over 40 beers available for tasting from 14 different breweries (including us), hosted by the funny man Sean from Killer Sprocket and Heath from Cavalier Brewing.

There’ll be the chance to meet the brewers, live music by Rattlin’ Bones Blackwood, private charter bus pick up and drop off, delicious food, table tennis, giant Jenga and games, prizes, giveaways and all sorts of other cool stuff you don’t want to miss out on.

We won’t have arrived in Melbourne just yet, but we’ll have our Beach House on tap.

Tuesday 17 May – Crowdfunding Your Beer Business Cyer Malt Trade Hub Beer Deluxe

crowdfunding

Dan is heading along to the Pozible crowdfunding workshop at the Cryer Malt Trade Hub on Tuesday. After running a successful Pozible campaign this year, the Pozible team asked us to come along and join in.

The Pozible guys will be running through how to plan your project, tips for running your campaign, and pretty much everything you need to know to drop a successful campaign on Pozible.

They’ve asked a few successful craft beer campaigners to come along (us being one), to talk about their first hand experiences with crowdfunding.

Budding campaigners are welcome to pitch their beer brand to the audience and also bring a batch to get feedback from fellow campaigners.

Thursday 19 May – AIBA Awards Dinner

AIBAs

Conducted by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), the Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) is the largest annual competition of its kind in the world judging both draught and packaged beer.

This year will be our first time at the ABIA’s and we are the first brewery to enter every category! As Govs said on our last podcast, it’s nice to be recognised… by ourselves.

Here is what we’ve entered:
