Ichibaaan – 5% Koji Gose

Koji Gose was born from the friendship between Black Hops’ star brewer, Satoshi-san, and fellow craft brewers Choryo. Located in Nara, Japan; the birthplace of Sake, Choryo specialises in Sake brewing and supplied their house strain Koji (rice-fermenting mould) for this unique beer.

This special collaboration beer was brewed simultaneously in both countries in time for the Tokyo Olympics, bringing together the complex flavours of the Koji and the sour-salty gose base with yuzu skins and a spicy Japanese green chilli paste called yuzu kosho.
