Happy BH Anniversary to Rick, who is known around here as the guy who is always up for anything adventurous! Orchestrating a balanced harmony of fun and fulfilment in his personal and work life, it’s no surprise his staff beer is no different.
Rick was inspired by Gouden Carolus Cuvee Van De Keizer Blue and the classic cocktail ‘Vieux Carré’ for this Belgian Strong Dark Ale, which uses rye malt and spotted gum honey, fermented on cognac and DOM Benedictine soaked French Oak chips.
The beer is luscious, deep, complex, and delivered with a high level of poise, kinda like Rick.
