Yuzu West Coast IPA

Yuzu West Coast IPA • ABV: 7.2% • Birthday Beer

We have a bit of an obsession with Yuzu here at our East Brisbane taproom. It’s unique tartness, citrus and bittering flavours have complimented our beers in various styles such as sours and Hazy IPAs, so we knew we had to try it in a West Coast IPA style. For this West Coast IPA, we have gone with the classic hop blend of Simcoe, Centennial & Columbus hops paired with a sweet malt base, bringing flavours of pine resin, fleshy stone fruit and sticky sweet caramel. Blended with Yuzu, the fruit amplifies this West Coast IPA’s acidity, citrus flavours such as grapefruit and lemon, and bitterness.
