Born on the Gold Coast in 2015, Black Hops began in a small Burleigh Heads garage, one bold idea, and a love of exceptional beer.

From our first homebrew of Eggnog Stout, to becoming Australia’s favourite craft brewery 10 years later, we’ve stayed true to our roots - quality, team, creativity, and community. 

Today, Black Hops is the embodiment of great Aussie brewing - authentic, adventurous, and unapologetically passionate. We’re the brewery you want to have a beer with: laid-back but driven, fun but focused, and always up for a chat.
